Problems with the Website

A lot of coaches are wondering why their meets are not yet listed on the TexasTrack schedule. I've received a lot of messages asking about this -- most very friendly, but sometimes not so friendly. (How can people get mad because I'm doing work for them for free!)

Besides the fact that I've been away from the office for four weeks (including 10 days out of the country). I have work and personal obligations that take up a great deal of time. Most people don't realize that the website is done by one person in his spare time. There is not "staff" working on it except the many, many people who help by sending in results and information.

Then this week a "hardware-related issue" with the server hosting the website has kept me from making new updates. It was apparently fixed last night, but it's going to take some time to get caught up. Since I'm leaving for meetings in Rhode Island tomorrow morning, I can't say when I will have all the meets posted, but I'll get them all up as soon as I can.

1 - I hope I'm not out of line, but this is a proud Granny "bragging" about her 14 year old, Jr. high student Brett Sharp, Pine Tree 8th. grade. He just finished his second meet. He threw Shot 47.5 and Discus 165.7. I don't know how that measures nation wide. Granny is proud whether it is the top or not. He is a fine young man, and his 70 year old Granny makes all his meets. ThanksĀ (Comment this)
